Anyone who knows Cybex knows that the brand, founded in Germany in 2005 and now belonging to the Chinese Goodbaby Group, understands to combine technology and elegance in the finest way possible. And even if the casket is now kept – and filled – in the Far East, the ideas for the products still come from Upper Franconia.
While the company previously focused primarily on the urban target group and staged these as hip young parents in its campaigns, Cybex now wants to enter the terrain of TfK and other outdoor specialists. But even if the somewhat ruffled nature comes into the picture – the models who push the models will always remain stylish, true to Cybex.
Since July 2020, the new “Talos S Lux” and “Talos S 2-in-1” pushchairs have been designed not only to appeal to sophisticated city parents, but also to win over all outdoor aficionados with a model that is both robust and attractive.
The engineers in Bayreuth have put together all-rounders for walks along gravelly river banks, in lumpy woods through crunching sand dunes. Whether the name component “Lux” stands for luxury or a lot of light is perhaps not necessary to distinguish. The Talos S Lux is Cybex’s current robust pram and, according to the manufacturer, offers just that “luxury”, comfort and convenience. This is ensured, they say, by the particularly wide seat. Reinforced sides protect the child’s upper body and hips when things get a bit bumpy on the road.
And then there is the factor “light”, because trips outside are most fun in good weather. And to ensure that the little ones are adequately protected from the sun, the “Talos S Lux” has a retractable sun canopy made of fabric with sun protection factor USF 50+ and a window made of mesh that provides some ventilation.
But the model is also equipped for cooler days, as it has a knee blanket included, which warms on colder days.
The “Talos S 2-in-1” can be quickly and easily converted from a pram with a baby bath into a pushchair with seat unit. In addition to the “Cot S” from Cybex, the model can also be combined with the company’s baby car seats.
What unites both strollers:
Because of the wheels, parents do not have to worry about air pressure and tire control. The wheels offer a stable stand on any surface and comfort even on uneven paths.
One hand is sufficient to lower the backrest of the seating unit into a reclining position. Just as easy is the height adjustment of the frame via push handle. This always leaves one hand free for the baby. The spacious shopping basket can also transport up to five additional kilograms.
Both models are suitable for babies from birth, such as the “Talos S 2-in-1” with the carrycot, and can be used up to the age of four years or a weight of 22 kilograms. Since July 2020, the “Talos S Lux” has been available from specialist dealers for EUR 449.95 and the “Talos S 2-in-1” for EUR 529.95, each with an RRP.
